Using Outside-In

When selecting files in the File List Pane the Outside-In® Viewer will display the file contents in the Image and Document viewer pane.

There are two main viewing modes that can be selected when using Outside-In® which are described below:

Text Mode

In Text Mode the document is displayed with no page formatting. All textual font information is retained and tables and images are also displayed. Text can be selected for highlighting as well as for inserting Sticky Notes. Within Text Mode the document can be paginated using the "automatically size to fit" feature on the Image Editing toolbar.

Page Mode

In Page Mode the selected document is displayed in the Image and Document Viewer in multi-page format. Pages in the document can be selected using the Next Page/Previous Page buttons on the Document Viewer Toolbar.

Note

In Page Mode each page displayed in the Image and Document Viewer pane is a bitmap of that page. As such the same Image Editing tools are available as for image files, enabling bookmarks, cropping and other editing functions to be performed
