Page Mode Annotation

A variety of tools are available when viewing a document in Page Mode. The tools include annotation tools and standard image editing and document viewing tools.

Page Mode annotation includes the Highlight tool and the Sticky Note tool.

Using the Highlight Tool

1. Select the document / image in the File List Pane

2. Confirm that the Show Annotation button is selected

3. Select the Highlight Tool

4. Place the mouse cursor at a corner of the area you want to highlight

5. Click and drag the mouse until the selection includes the area to be highlighted. As the mouse moves a box appears indicating the border of the selection

6. Release the mouse button for the area to be selected

Note

To select highlights within a document the highlight tool must be selected.

Using the Sticky Note tool

1. Select the document / image in the File List Pane

2. Confirm that the Show Annotation button is selected

3. Select the Sticky Note Tool

4. Place the mouse cursor at the position where the Sticky Note is to be created

5. Drag the mouse to the create the required size of the Sticky Note

6. Release the mouse to the create the Sticky Note. Double click inside the Sticky Note to enter text

7. After entering text select <CR> to create the Sticky Note

8. Click outside of the Sticky Note to deselect the Sticky Note to complete the process

The appearance of the Sticky Note can be changed using tools on the Sticky Note right click menu - see Sticky Notes Attributes
To select Sticky Notes the Sticky Note tool must be selected
To remove Sticky Notes confirm the Sticky Note tool is selected then select the Sticky Note followed by the Delete Key.
