When you first run FNO3 you will be presented with the default view comprising five main panes which at first glance looks like a normal file manager.

The FNO3 user screen is divided into the Sidebar on the left and Main Window on the right. Layouts and column views in the user interface can be customized and saved as templates (see Overview of Layouts and Views)
In the default Layout the Main Window comprises
File List - the main folder and file viewing pane
Zip Viewer Pane - view and process ZIP file contents
In the default View the Sidebar comprises
Shortcuts Pane - Generate shortcuts to your favorite or most used folders
Folders Pane - browse your PC folders, network neighborhood or network drives
Notes Catalog Pane - create collections of projects, removable drives, search results
Viewer Pane - view documents (future release), images and videos in this window
The status bar at the bottom of the FNO3 user screen is shown below

The status bar is used to convey information associated with the File List Pane
Note
Current View refers to the currently active Columns Template- see Customizing Columns
When the Current View shows Custom it indicates column changes have been made to the Columns Template used for this folder
Sum Value refers to summation of values in the Index field - See Using the Sum Values Feature
