Restoring FNO³

This section describes the necessary steps to restore FNO³ after it has been removed from a PC. This may be necessary following such events as a PC rebuild.

The procedure described below for restoring FNO³ assumes the following

• A backup for the My Documents\filenotes folder is available from the previous installation (see Backing Up File Notes Organizer)
• All folders originally containing .fno files are intact or have been restored to their original condition (see Backing Up File Notes Organizer)
• The original partition structure of the PC remains the same as the initial FNO³ installation

1. Install FNO³ as described in the Installing File Notes Organizer 3

2. Restore the filenotes folder to the My Documents folder
