The File Notes Organizer 3 (FNO3) application has at it's heart the concept of assigning notes to folders, files and even pages within files to enable organization of a user's PC.
A Note refers to a field within FNO3 that is associated with a folder or file and can be used to enter textual information. FNO3 supports up to four Note fields per folder/file. Each Note field can be renamed to more accurately describe it's purpose or function. Bookmarks expand the application of Note fields by enabling extra notes to be written against files, as well as writing Notes against specific pages within files.
By assigning notes to files not only can you overcome the natural limitation of trying to assign meaningful names to files to describe the contents but a new world is opened up with the use of Catalogs and bookmarks to bring a wealth of potential applications within the business and home environment.
