Photo Transfer

FNO³ includes a feature for transferring photos from removable disks (e.g. PDA external memory, digital cameras).

1. Confirm the removable disk is connected to the PC.

Note

• The removable disk (e.g. camera) must appear as a drive letter on the Drives Toolbar in order to use the Photo Transfer feature

2. Click Tools on the Main Toolbar, click Photo Transfer to access the Photo Transfer Wizard.

• FNO³ will detect all image files and display then in the photo transfer wizard window

• If a removable disk is not present FNO³ will indicate this with the error message below

3. Select the files that are to be transferred using the check boxes beside each file

• Use Select All and Select None to select or de-select all files
• Individual file can be selected or deselected using the check boxes

4. Selecting either Copy or Move will open the Browse for Folder window to transfer files to the PC

5. Choose a destination folder

6. Check the Rename Wizard checkbox to create a new folder at the destination. The new folder name will be the current date in the format year_monthday

Note

• The rename wizard can also be used to provide new names for the files being transferred by selecting Auto number files in the drop down window (see Rename Wizard)

7. Click OK to copy/move the selected files
