Using Notes for Networked Folders and Files

FNO3 Notes can be written against files across all Network Folders that have write access.

When Notes are written against files existing on a network drive/folders FNO3 will create a local Notes Catalog in the folder containing the file. The folder must therefore have write access.

Local Catalogs on network folders are modified by any Notes changes within those folders. These changes can be made by multiple FNO3 users and are not restricted to the creator of the Note. One example of utilizing this feature within an office environment is The Project Review
